AMCON (August 14, 2017) — Whether it’s a degree program, apprenticeship, internship, or a career change – as a company rooted in northern Germany and based in Cloppenburg, AMCON places great importance on supporting young talent in the region and continuously seeking out new prospects. For this reason, AMCON will once again be represented this year at the Oldenburger Münsterland Job Fair on September 1–2 and at the Job4u fair from September 15–17 in the Weser-Ems Halls in Oldenburg.
“The job fairs in Oldenburg and Cloppenburg are a great platform for us to connect with students and graduates, present our company, and inspire them to pursue a dual study program, an apprenticeship, or an internship with us,” says Olaf Clausen, Managing Director of AMCON. The cross-industry concept of the job fairs targets not only career starters, career changers, and those interested in further education, but also skilled professionals, executives, and prospective apprentices and students from all disciplines. The two-day events offer the opportunity to get to know regional companies and make initial contact. Especially in the IT sector, the job market is highly competitive, and recruiting qualified employees is often associated with significant costs. That’s why AMCON has developed its own career orientation program to foster young talent.
Since the success of a company largely depends on the quality of its workforce and therefore on well-trained employees, enjoying one’s work is a top priority. “Enjoying your work is something we strive for. Those who are passionate about their job are more successful and, in turn, more satisfied. That’s why we offer flexible working hours, additional company benefits, and fair apprenticeship pay,” says Darius Rauert, Managing Director of AMCON.
