AMCON.FARE
AMCON.FARE – All Tariffs in One System
With AMCON.FARE, ticket sales, issuing of penalty fare notices (EBEs), and fare zone segmentation are all possible in one system. By using the HUSST data storage format, we are able to cooperate with a wide range of third-party providers and distribute supply data in a standardized manner.
AMCON.FARE enables you to build an offering based on tariffs from all over Germany, manage process-driven sales, and maintain individual in-house tariffs – all from a single system.
Challenges in Public Transport Fare Management
Fare structures and distribution channels in Germany’s public transport (ÖPNV) are highly diverse and complex. Numerous transport and fare associations operate with their own systems and historically developed data formats. A nationwide unified fare structure? Still a distant goal. Many fare managers continue to rely on their proven in-house formats. Changes are often costly, time-consuming, and rarely desired.
Unified Data Format with the AMCON Fare Module
The AMCON Fare Module consolidates and standardizes various fare data formats and allows centralized management. Our module enables:
Merging different formats into a central interface
Intuitive display and editing of fare structures
Distributing fare data to all connected sales devices and channels in a unified format
Even fare systems without raw data can be manually and user-friendly maintained – ideal for small regional or internal fare systems.
Standardized Fare Data Management and Distribution to Sales Devices
Fare Management
Centralized tariff administration: Import and manage all fares in Germany within the AMCON.SYSTEM
Easy go-live: With our ATF export format, data can be transferred seamlessly from test systems to live systems
Automated plausibility checks: Integrated validation mechanisms help react quickly to fare changes and implement necessary adjustments
Fare Data Distribution
Seamless integration into all sales systems: By using HUSST, we can generate small, standardized databases at the push of a button and distribute them to ticket machines, sales points, mobile devices, and webshops. Third-party vendors like Krauth are already receiving fare data this way.
Smooth fare transitions: In addition to our software, we offer hands-on support during fare updates. From organization and communication to implementing updates in your system – we take care of everything so you can relax.
Advanced Sales Processes
Integrate products and vouchers: With AMCON.FARE, you can sell not only tickets but also products, vouchers, and manage EBE or replacement card processes – all from one system
Customizable sales offerings: Tailor fare and product offerings for each sales channel individually
Fare specifications: Our fare experts work closely with you to interpret and implement fare regulations accurately. With over 20 years of experience, we’ve already incorporated numerous special cases into AMCON.FARE.

Standardized and Interoperable: HUSST Format
What sets it apart: The AMCON.FARE Module is based on the HUSST standard.
HUSST is the vendor-independent standard interface for public transport in Germany. It enables seamless exchange of fare and transaction data between sales devices and back-end systems from different manufacturers.
Smart Fare Logic: Automatic Fare Determination
The true strength of the AMCON.FARE Module lies in its ability to consolidate data across multiple fare systems. Stops that belong to multiple fare zones are merged and offered as a single unified stop. Based on the selected origin and destination, the system automatically identifies the applicable fare(s) and presents the corresponding tickets. Instead of being displayed individually, tickets are grouped into logical clusters – allowing passengers and service staff to quickly and easily find the correct ticket.
