AWS offers a wide range of services and functionalities. The systems are hosted exclusively on servers located in data centers within the Frankfurt region and are fully compliant with the GDPR.
All services used are provided across at least two availability zones, ensuring that the cloud remains accessible at all times. Even in the event of a disruption, the system continues to operate seamlessly—without the customer even noticing any issues.
Data is protected and securely stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Access to the backend system in the AMCON.Cloud is exclusively encrypted. Only authorized users can start and operate the system, and users are granted only the permissions necessary for their specific role. This significantly minimizes security risks.
All access to the cloud is logged to ensure traceability of any potential incidents. These logs are processed and stored in compliance with GDPR and are automatically deleted after a defined retention period.
Backups are performed regularly and automatically. Server data is backed up daily, and database backups are made hourly. These backups can be restored promptly, making the risk of data loss negligible.
The cloud environment is continuously monitored and controlled using specific performance indicators. This enables flawless operation and allows for a rapid response in the event of any issues.
Regular load tests are conducted to determine the limits of the hosted systems and software. Based on these results, measures can be taken to further improve system stability and availability.
