The award is presented annually as part of the Alliance for Dual Vocational Training and highlights companies that provide young people with reliable professional prospects. This year’s award ceremony focused on the offering of career-oriented internships — an area in which AMCON has set standards for years.
“We are very pleased about this award,” said Olaf Clausen, Managing Director of AMCON. “Our training and internship programs are specifically designed to support young talent early on and enable them to successfully enter the professional world. For us, training is not only an investment in the future of our company but also an active contribution to securing skilled workers in the Cloppenburg region.”
The criteria for the award include, among others, the number of trainees over the past three years, the continuity and success of the training, regional and social engagement, as well as the implementation of digital training formats. AMCON convinced in all areas and receives a prize money of 1,000 euros, which will be specifically invested in the further development of the training programs.
Melanie Walter, Head of Department for Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education, personally presented the award and emphasized that companies like AMCON demonstrate how important reliable vocational training is for securing skilled workers and the future of our regions.
With this award, AMCON once again underscores its commitment not only to technological but also to social responsibility — paving the way for young people towards a successful professional future.
