At the 7th IT-TRANS from March 3 to 5, 2020, at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Center, the focus will be on Mobility-as-a-Service. At the trade fair and conference for IT trends and digital services in the mobility sector, with over 260 exhibitors, software manufacturer AMCON will also be presenting in Hall 1 at booth 1L1 – alongside the many new features of the UFHO system – a mobile customer terminal with cashless and contactless payment functionality. Additional customer information, advertising, cross-selling, and up-selling are buzzwords that will be closely linked to ticket machines in the future. Modern technology and intuitive software create added value for both passengers and transport companies.

Over a freshly made AMCON waffle and a cup of coffee, you can discuss the latest innovations with the AMCON team and test them directly at the booth. To round off the day, there will be freshly tapped beer available in the evening.

Feel free to schedule an appointment at messe@amcon.de.

Mobile and stationary customer terminals and extended UFHO system

AMCON will showcase the latest innovations around the UFHO system in Hall 1 at booth 1L1. The new mobile customer terminal with cashless and contactless payment functionality will be a highlight of the booth. In the areas of fare management, passenger information, and communication, AMCON has developed several innovations that especially emphasize the concept of Mobility-as-a-Service. Whether on the bus, train, or in the control center — the UFHO system focuses on intuitive usability for bus drivers, train drivers, conductors, and also for passengers. With the new features of the bus board unit, eTicketing is easier than ever, and subscription management with a web interface greatly simplifies handling for student and corporate customers. The new webshops also offer transport companies many advantages when setting ticket prices and quotas. Everything is centrally controlled and managed through the UFHO backend system. AMCON’s base API primarily simplifies communication between customer apps and payment service providers and can serve as a standard interface to connect various other systems. Static travel authorizations are also issued via the base API (barcode-as-a-service). Additionally, the base API offers many benefits in handling inspection cases (EBE) for both transport companies and passengers, as these cases can be managed with minimal effort.
