SCRUM

Scrum for greater efficiency, planability and quality

In our development process, we rely on a proven agile management method called Scrum. Scrum allows us to work more efficiently and flexibly to develop high-quality software products. By using Scrum, we have found an effective way for our development teams, product managers, and project leaders to work hand in hand, leveraging synergies and successfully completing projects – to our own satisfaction and the delight of our customers.

What is Scrum actually good for?

Scrum offers us a structured and iterative approach to software development projects. Instead of rigid, lengthy planning phases—where requirements may become outdated—we focus on short development cycles known as sprints.

A sprint is a fixed time frame, typically lasting between one and four weeks, during which a defined scope of work is completed. This enables us to respond more quickly to changes and concentrate on the most valuable requirements.

The Scrum Process

A Scrum process consists of various elements that are implemented in close collaboration. These include:

Product Backlog

Product Backlog

The product backlog is a prioritized and continuously updated list of requirements and features.

Sprint Planning

Sprint Planning

During sprint planning, the team decides which items from the product backlog will be implemented in the upcoming sprint.

Daily Scrum

Daily Scrum

The daily scrum is a short, daily meeting where the team discusses progress and identifies potential obstacles.

Sprint Review

Sprint Review

At the end of a sprint, the team presents the results during the sprint review and gathers feedback from stakeholders.

Sprint Retrospektive

Sprint Retrospektive

The sprint retrospective provides space for reflection and improvement of the process.

Our customers benefit from Scrum in many ways. Through incremental development and regular feedback loops, they gain early insights into project progress and can actively help shape the outcome. This means they are kept informed throughout the entire development process and their requirements can be incorporated. As a result, customer satisfaction increases and the final software solution fits their actual needs more precisely.

Scrum enables us to continuously improve the quality of our software. By focusing on regular deliveries and feedback, we can detect and correct errors at an early stage. Furthermore, transparent communication within the Scrum team and with stakeholders ensures better planning and greater stability. Ultimately, this leads to more effective project outcomes and the satisfaction of everyone involved.
