Use case: connection protection with AMCON.DATAHUB
A regional bus is on its way to the station but is delayed by heavy traffic for a few minutes. Under normal circumstances, the connecting train would depart on schedule—passengers would miss their connection and have to wait a long time.
With the ANS service (connection protection) of AMCON.DATAHUB, things work differently: the relevant real-time data is already included in the ANS data, is automatically analysed, and passed on to all connected systems serving the transfer area. This allows transport operators to identify early on that a connection is at risk and respond in a targeted way—for example, by holding a train for a few minutes to secure the connection.
The result: passengers reach their destination more reliably, missed connections are reduced, and the attractiveness of public transport increases—all without the need for constant manual intervention by staff.
