The software manufacturer AMCON from Cloppenburg was recognized as one of the best employers in the “Best Employers in Lower Saxony-Bremen 2020” competition by Great Place to Work® and also received the “Best Employers ICT 2020” award this year. This means that AMCON is one of the top employers nationwide in the field of Information and Communication Technology. This was officially announced on Tuesday by the Great Place to Work® Institute Germany. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in developing trustworthy working relationships and creating attractive and supportive working conditions for employees. Data collection is based on an anonymous employee survey. Nearly all respondents stated that they appreciate the friendly work atmosphere and that employees take care of each other. A large majority of the surveyed AMCON employees say: “All in all, I can say this is a good place to work.”

“We are very pleased to have repeated the success of 2016 and 2018 and this time even be recognized as one of the best ICT companies nationwide. Most of the surveyed colleagues would recommend us as an employer. That makes us incredibly proud, because what could be better than having your own employees as enthusiastic advocates,” said Darius Rauert, Managing Director of AMCON.

Team spirit and satisfaction ensure success in companies

The evaluation was based on an anonymous employee survey covering key workplace topics such as trust, identification, team spirit, professional development, compensation, health promotion, and work-life balance. The quality of the company’s personnel and leadership practices was also assessed. “The award stands for a workplace culture that is strongly characterized by trust, pride, and team spirit,” says Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of the German Great Place to Work® Institute. “Attractive working conditions and a supportive culture of collaboration are essential keys to economic success and tackling important future challenges.”
